This topic will explain how to setup and get started with the Turck ARGEE programming environment. The programming environment can be used to create, view, edit, and debug ARGEE programs for Turck blocks used in Simple Connect devices.

Download and Run the ARGEE Programming Environment
- Download the latest version of ARGEE programming environment v3 from here.
- Unzip the downloaded folder and open it.
- Unzip the X.X.X_dist.zip folder and open it.
- Open the file Start ARGEE Programming Environment.html in your favorite browser.
- Device Selection:
- If you have a Turck block connected to your PC, you can enter the IP address and connect to it.
- If you don’t have one, you can enter simulation mode. Select either FEN20-16DXP or FEN20-4DIP-4DXP depending on the device you are targeting.
Opening an ARGEE Program
Once the programming environment is opened, you can open a program by navigating to the Project tab from the top menu. Next, under the Open Project section, press [Choose Files]. Select the ARGEE program that you want to open.

Included in the downloaded ARGEE programming environment folder, there is the ARGEE reference manual that covers the programming environment and how to use it.
