Overview:
To miniaturize input/output connections, new boards plug directly into the main IO board and allow connection of signals without need for ribbon cables and breakout board. These compact cards reside in a plastic support structure and provide LED indicators for all accessory outputs and user relay outputs.
- Standard User IO: The new tophat assemblies provide 8 inputs and 8 outputs for user applications without consuming any IO for the SimpleConnect options. The Standard User IO consists of 8 NPN transistor outputs and 8 NPN transistor inputs
- Optional User IO: An optional IO card can be added to achieve another 16 IO points in addition to the standard IO. All 16 outputs are relays and the inputs are NPN. That’s 24 Inputs and 24 Outputs!
- More Relay Outputs: When purchased with the Optional User IO, the YRC1000 now has more (8 more) relay outputs than were previously available.
The custom formed carrier supports and houses the circuit boards while ensuring the most compact mounting possible. While boards are designed to withstand average everyday use, care still needs to be taken to ensure proper fit-up and connections are made. Do not force or apply excessive amounts of pressure when attempting to mate the boards. The thumbscrews are intended maintain the connection between boards and do not need to be overly tightened.
